Vivo en Bizkaia (y otros sitios tambien)

Regular readers of this blog (both of you) will remember that one of the problems I have had is finding decent egg cups in Bilbao. This problem, while not at quite the same level as banishing world hunger, has been a quite significant one for me.

Fortunately I have some very good friends.

And today I can formally announce the arrival of Thomas the Tank Engine and his two friends in Bilbao.

Dodie went to some lengths to get me a genuine Thomas the Tank Engine egg cup, he is the one in the middle of the photograph.

And unknown to me Mike went to great lengths to get me two white egg cups as well! They are the ones on either side of Thomas.

So now I have three egg cups!

This sudden plethora of egg cups means that any morning when I decide to have boiled eggs for breakfast I have to make some hard decisions. Is it a Thomas day when one egg will do? Or is it the sort of day when I need two eggs? Or am I feeling very hungry and think i need three? And depending on how many eggs I decide to have which egg cups should I use?

Sometimes in life it is nice to have to make decisions. Many thanks to Dodie and Mike for going to a lot of trouble. But then that is the sort of friends I tend to have.
